So here's how it works: You still need a credit card to secure the 50% deposit, but upon arrival, you can pay the total in cash and receive the 10% discount. We will then release the 50% deposit from your credit card; or, pay the balance of your bill in cash and receive 10% off that amount. Cash is traveler's checks, or the green stuff - cash. We do not accept personal or Corporate checks.

We offered this special when we first opened and we are bringing it back by popular demand. We figure that if we don't have to pay a credit card servicing fees on your transaction, why not pass that savings on to you.

Discover Old Hawaii

Discover The Palms Cliff House Inn

There are places you can travel to that fill your mind with images and romantic ideas long before you ever arrive. The Palms Cliff House Inn, located just 15 minutes outside of Hilo on Hawaii’s Big Island is one such destination.

The nearly indescribable beauty and allure of this Victorian Inn draws you in from the first moment you turn down the palm tree lined drive. For the independent traveler seeking that classic Hawaiian experience. The Palms Cliff House Inn will hold a special appeal.

It might be watching the sunrise in a spectacular display of color while sipping the Inn’s own blend of coffee, or the sweet scent of the macadamia nut blossoms in the orchard drifting on the soft ocean breezes. Or, it could be the blended songs of the native Hawaiian birds that sing while you watch for humpback whales in Pohakumanu Bay.

Perhaps it’s the sumptuous attention to detail found in each thoughtfully decorated room that makes this beautiful boutique Inn feel like the familiar comfort of home. No matter what it is that leads you to the Big Island, discover the aloha of old Hawaii at The Palms Cliff House Inn.

................

The Palms Cliff House Inn is a legal, fully licensed, permitted, and regularly inspected Inn operating on the Big Island of Hawaii. Book with confidence, knowing that you will be arriving to a clean, secure, and professionally operated business. Currently, Michele Gamble also servers as as board member on the Hawaii Island Bed & Breakfast Association (HIBBA).

Our ocean front location means all 8 rooms have an ocean view. When we decided to open our home to guests as a boutique Bed and Breakfast, our goal was to create our Inn to be as unique as the Big Island. We set out to offer guests unique luxuries that are usually found only at large resorts.

Items like private entrances, private bathrooms, quiet rooms, and really comfortable beds. But we also provide limited occupancy and private suites that allow you a private entry to your room as well as a large private bathroom, and lanai.

All this comes together to create a comfortable place that offers the amenities of a large resort, but the charm and comfort of a small B&B; where you can relax and enjoy your vacation. Near Hawaii Island attractions like the Volcano National Park, Laupahoehoe, Waipio Valley, Botanic Gardens, and Mauna Kea, means you can be close to everything, but feel like you are a world away!
